Project Overview
I chose "Promenade Outdoors" as the brand name. A promenade is a leisurely walk in a public place for pleasure. The goal is to encourage the audience to enjoy outdoor activities and embark on new adventures. The target audience consists of hip, trendsetting young adults who enjoy the outdoors and participate in activities such as hiking, walking, biking, or camping whenever possible during the week.
The logo was created using zig-zag curved lines to represent the shape of mountains, conveying a dynamic appearance that encourages continuous forward movement and an unwavering spirit of exploration. The colour scheme was chosen to reflect nature, giving the space a fresh and invigorating feel similar to that of the outdoors.

Role Description
Working on this project has made me learn more about the future industry needs and how to use the base knowledge and create amazing experiences. The full experience was filmed and compiled into a short video with screen recordings showing some of the screens from the stations. The video is a great summary of the whole project.

I began by defining my target audience: young Canadians seeking comfortable ways to enjoy outdoor activities. With the target audience and brand identity in mind, I sketched ideas for the logo, focusing on mountain imagery to symbolize the outdoors.
The brand's color palette includes navy blue for elegance and power, off-white for calmness, and accent colors like amber and turquoise to enhance contrast and impart a modern look.
User Experience Vision
The rebranded retail installation consists of four elements: The interactive catalogue station, where objects and light sensers trigger catalogue-based graphics, the rotating product app, which uses gesture control technology to initiate videos and graphics, the touchscreen ordering app, a kiosk merchandise customization station and the motion graphics and QR code station, where your phone can change videos based on a code.
These four elements function as an interactive retail installation, one that is now rebranded to “Promenade Outdoors”.
